Any document type can be protected using Adhaero Transit. The documents are compressed and encrypted before conversion to an executable format. This creates a Self Extracting Encrypted Document or ‘SEED’ which may then be safely transferred to the recipient by email, on disk, etc. The recipient runs the executable file, and enters the required authentication information (i.e. pass phrase) to allow the data to be extracted and decrypted. This method is an extremely easy way of protecting movable data - the recipient does NOT need any Adhaero Transit software installed to be able to decrypt and use the document.
