I had a terrible snoring problem.
It plagued me in my youth, when I would keep friends up all night if we went on trips.
Later when I got married I started to become desperate to fix my problem. I experimented with nearly every snoring medication there was - pills, sprays and creams. I even tried those stupid devices you wear in your mouth while sleeping. No matter what I tried, my snoring didn't stop.
So I continued snoring and kept my wife up for hours every night.
Then Discovered The Cure For Snoring Accidentally
One day, while staying in a hotel room on a trip with my wife and daughter, I was telling my wife that snoring is caused by a blockage in the breathing passages... And snoring cures are based around trying to fix that blockage
Anyway, she looked at me calmly and then said: "That's what I work on with my students."
My wife used to be a classical singer... but became a teacher recently. She described how, to sing well, the breathing passage has to be open and firm... And that is what she trains her students every day!
After being married for five years, she accidentally suddenly revealed to me that she spent her entire life solving the same problems that I myself - not even my doctors! - could figure out!
Over a couple of months, my wife taught me the easy singing techniques.
I modified the exercises so they focused on the areas specific to my problem, and I found out exactly what works and what doesn’t work to open up the throat and removing the blockages which made me snore.
I slept like a baby after the first week. And after just 3 weeks of training...
My Snoring Had Disappeared.

Snoring Facts
- Snoring occurs when the air passage is hindered, thus inhibiting usual and easy breathing while asleep.
- The noise level of snoring increases as the breathing passage becomes more blocked.
- The muscles in the throat are kept open while a person is awake, but when they are asleep they relax and close up. Snoring happens when these muscles become too relaxed and start to block the throat.
- A nasal blockage causes one to breathe through the mouth which can lead to snoring. The tongue is pushed back when the mouth is open, and makes the uvula to press against the throat.
- Throat muscles can swell or relax too much and block the breathing passage as a result of alcohol, smoking, sleeping pills, blocked nose, sinusitis, enlarged tonsils, cough mixture containing dextromethorphan, excess body weight & an allergy to dust, mold, wheat or eggs. Other causes are an oversized uvula or nasal pathway deformities.
- Snoring is often hereditary.
- Overweight middle-aged (or older) men and overweight menopausal women may develop a snore.
- Snoring can occur while in a seated position for some people.
- Children usually snore because their adenoids are enflamed or they have a blocked nose. Small babies have pretty small breathing passages, and this can cause them to snore sometimes.
- The majority of snorers cannot hear themselves snore, but some will notice it if they are half awake.
