I had a severe case of snoring.
It plagued me in my youth, when I would keep friends up all night if we went on trips.

- Snoring arises when the air passage is blocked, thereby inhibiting easy and normal breathing during sleep.
- The noise level of snoring increases as the breathing passage becomes more blocked.
- Snoring can be the result of a nasal blockage, when the mouth has to be used to inhale. The uvula can block the back of the throat if the tongue pushes it back when the mouth is open.
