I had a very bad snoring problem.

  • Snoring occurs when the air passage is hindered, thus inhibiting usual and easy breathing while asleep.


  • Nasal blockages can cause snoring because the person has to breathe through their mouth. When the mouth is open, the tongue gets pushed back and makes the uvula to push against the back of the throat.


  • Throat muscles stay wide open when the body is awake, but at the onset of sleep they relax inwards. When they relax too much they block the breathing passage and snoring occurs.
