I had a very bad snoring problem.

Even when I was young it was a problem - trips with friends could be difficult because I'd keep them up all night long with my snoring.

  • Snoring arises when the air passage is blocked, thereby inhibiting easy and normal breathing during sleep.


  • Snoring can be caused by a nasal blockage (i.e. when somebody has a cold) and as the personal is force to breathe through their mouth they can begin to snore. In an open-mouth position the tongue is pushed back causing the uvula to press against the back of the throat.


  • The decibel rating of snoring is directly related to the amount the muscles relax.
