I had a very bad snoring problem.
It was a problem when I was young - if I went on trips with friends I would snore and keep them up all night long.

- Snoring occurs when the air passage is hindered, thus inhibiting usual and easy breathing while asleep.
- Muscles in the throat, which are open while the body is awake, relax and sag during sleep. Snoring occurs when the airways is blocked by muscles that relax too much.
- Snoring is noisier the more the airway is blocked.
- Nasal blockages can also cause snoring because it forces people to breath through their mouth. In an open-mouth position the tongue is pushed back causing the uvula to press against the back of the throat.
