I had a severe case of snoring.
It was a problem when I was young - if I went on trips with friends I would snore and keep them up all night long.

Snoring Facts
- Snoring arises by a blocked air passage, in that way inhibiting easy and usual breathing while sleeping.
- When awake the muscles of the throat keep the throat open but when asleep these muscles go into a relax mode & sag inward. When they relax more than necessary the airway can become blocked and snoring will result.
- Snoring becomes louder as the muscles relax more.
- Snoring can be caused by a nasal blockage (i.e. when somebody has a cold) and as the personal is force to breathe through their mouth they can begin to snore. In an open-mouth position the tongue is pushed back causing the uvula to press against the back of the throat.
- An air blockage whereby the muscles of the throat either become too lax or swell can be caused by sinusitis, sleeping pills, alcohol, smoking, blocked nose, enlarged tonsils, allergies to dust, mold, wheat or eggs, cough mixture containing dextromethorphan and excess body weight.
