I had a severe case of snoring.
It was a problem when I was young - if I went on trips with friends I would snore and keep them up all night long.

- Snoring occurs when the air passage is hindered, thus inhibiting usual and easy breathing while asleep.
- The sound of snoring varies with the degree of obstruction.
- A nasal blockage causes one to breathe through the mouth which can lead to snoring. If the mouth is open, the tongue is forced back and pushes the uvula against the back of the throat.
