I had a chronic case of snoring.

Snoring Facts
- Snoring occurs when the air passage is hindered, thus inhibiting usual and easy breathing while asleep.
- Snoring is noisier the more the airway is blocked.
- Snoring can be caused by a nasal blockage (i.e. when somebody has a cold) and as the personal is force to breathe through their mouth they can begin to snore. The tongue is pushed back when the mouth is open, and makes the uvula to press against the throat.
- The muscles in the throat are kept open while a person is awake, but when they are asleep they relax and close up. Snoring occurs when these muscles collapse (i.e. become too lax), creating a blockage at the airway.
