My name is Michelle. In April 2002, I was newly pregnant and starting to become anxious about my changing body, both inside and out.
With 15 years of experience as a Health and Nutrition Coach, a Certificate in Personal Training, a Masters Degree in Holistic Nutrition, and a Psychology Degree, I believed I had the entire pregnancy, body, food thing sorted out – BOY WAS I WRONG!

I had SO MANY Questions

So, being the information hound that I am, I went looking for answers. Sadly, I came up short. Most of the fashionable pregnancy books were either too medical (making me more anxious and nervous) or too playful (not giving me enough practical advice).
I also realized that the general feeling out there is that that pregnant women gain tons of weight, and that pregnancy is a struggle, they wear over-sized shirts, feel uncomfortable and don't have much energy.
Not me! I was eager to LOOK good, feel great, and have TRUCK LOADS of energy during my pregnancy. I planned to be FREE of aches and pains, dress sexy and to lose weight with ease after I delivered my baby.
And I did it.
Most New Moms are Full of Regret
Most pregnant women indulge in their cravings, they let themselves go, halt exercising and use pregnancy as a justification to eat the house.
There’s no disagreement that when you have a fat belly, feel nauseous and have pains and aches– the last thing you feel like doing is getting up off the sofa or thinking about what you’re about to munch on.
And that's why most pregnant women gain extra weight than they should, struggle to achieve weight loss afterwards, and often feel miserable as a result.
How often do you hear mothers moaning about the “remaining” five or ten pounds that they just CAN’T seem to lose?
And how many females do you know that have turned to using restrictive diets and strict exercising routines (all the weight-loss “tricks”) to remove those UNWANTED pounds after pregnancy?
In fact, many women spend the rest of their lives believing they'll never get their “pre-pregnancy” body back– they don’t feel sexy or attractive anymore

Pregnancy Books Are All About BABY
Pregnancy books will recommend you to eat 300 more calories and to exercise – but that’s just about all. Nowhere could I find exactly WHAT I should or could do in any real detail.
Even though I was an “expert” in non-pregnancy fitness, I had TONS to learn about “pregnancy + fitness”. I remember when I was trying to find out HOW I could modify my exercise routines for my own pregnancy – what was safe to do and what was needed to AVOID.
