My name is Michelle. In April 2002, I was newly pregnant and starting to become anxious about my changing body, both inside and out.

With fifteen years experience as a Health and Nutrition Coach, a Holistic Nutrition Masters Degree, a Certificate in Personal Training, and a Psychology Degree, I figured I had the whole pregnancy, body, food thing covered – BOY WAS I WRONG!

I had SO MANY Questions

So, being the information hound that I am, I went looking for answers. Sadly, I came up short. Most of the fashionable pregnancy books were either too medical (making me more anxious and nervous) or too playful (not giving me enough practical advice).

I also realized that the general feeling out there is that pregnancy can be a stressful struggle and that pregnant women gain lots of weight, wear huge oversized clothing, feel uncomfortable and don't have much energy.

Not me! I was determined have LOTS of energy and to LOOK great while being pregnant. I was also going to be FREE of aches and pains, dress sexy and of course have an easy time losing weight after I delivered my baby.

And I did it.

Most New Moms are Full of Regret
Most pregnant women use pregnancy as an excuse to eat the house. They let themselves go, indulge in their cravings, and stop exercising.

There’s no arguement that when you have a larger belly, feel sick & nauseous and have aches and pains – the last thing you feel like doing is getting up off the couch or thinking about what you’re about to eat.

And that’s why most pregnant women gain more weight than they should, struggle to lose the excess pounds afterwards, and feel miserable.

How many times do you hear new moms complaining about the “last” five or ten pounds from pregnancy that they just CAN’T seem to lose?

And how many women do you know who have resorted to using strict exercising routines (all the weight-loss “tricks”) and restrictive diets to get rid of those UNWANTED post-pregnancy pounds?

In fact, many women spend the rest of their lives feeling like they’ll never get their “pre-pregnancy” body back– they don’t feel sexy or attractive.

Could've, should've, would've – don’t ever let this happen to you. Don’t be full of regret.

You CAN make your pregnancy a SUCCESS for both baby and you – it’s not as hard as you think (and it WILL set you up for afterwards!).

Pregnancy Books Are Generally About BABY
Pregnancy books will recommend you to eat 300 more calories and to exercise – but that’s just about all. Nowhere could I find exactly WHAT I should or could do in any real detail.

Even though I was an “expert” in non-pregnancy fitness, I had TONS to learn about “pregnancy + fitness”. I remember trying to find out HOW I should modify my exercise routine for my pregnancy – what was safe to do and what I needed to AVOID.

Wow, you think it would be easy to find simple tips like - do not lift above your head or lie down on your back after the first trimester, it wasn’t! I knew the methods for working my abdominal muscles, but I did not know EXACTLY what I could or couldn’t do now that I was exercising for two.
