IMS CharacterCreator ProTM is a companion content creation tool for IMS CharacterGenerator StudioTM, and allows the user to quickly and easily create an UNLIMITED number of animated 3D characters using 2D digital photographs. The characters created by IMS CharacterCreator ProTM can be easily exported to IMS CharacterGenerator StudioTM, and used to create any talking character animations in Macromedia Director.. This tool is a stand-alone application that does not require the user to be an animator, or have previous experience in animated character design.
IMS CharacterCreator ProTM allows users to create 3D animated characters by simply using one, two, or three digital images. The characters created using this application can also be dressed in a variety of clothing, and the user can alter the characters facial image in a number of different ways including elongating the nose, bulging the eyes, and enlarging the ears.
The beauty of the IMS CharacterCreator ProTM application is that users do not need to have any previous experience in character animation in order to create characters that can talk. There is no need to use any of the expensive character animation packages available on the market; all the user needs is at least one digital image of the character they wish to create and about ten minutes. With IMS CharacterCreator ProTM there is no need for the user to build morph targets, or a bones rig; all of this is built automatically by the application.
