Why do I get heartburn?

You can obtain heartburn and acid reflux in various ways. Digestive problems, a damaged lower esophageal sphincter, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal or H. pylori bacterium.

Damaging their lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus is the reason most people get heartburn. The pain of heartburn can very from being quite insignificant to debilitating. However it can be corrected - and quite easily too!

When stomach acid vapors touches lesions on the esophagus heartburn and acid reflux is experienced. This contact will create pain - like your chest is burning inside. It is the same painful feeling as getting acidic vinegar in a cut.

Drinking orange or tomato juice can be a painful experience for someone with esophagus lesions, as the acid in the juice will burn their throat. People that don’t have pain don't get heartburn or acid reflux because their digestive organs are in good working order.

Can I Correct It?

Yes! My treatment has been effective (permanently!) for 90% of the people that have tried it. They are living their life pain-free, without anxiety, belching and embarrassment. You could be one of them!

It look me several years to understand exactly what was causing my pain. In the end I found out what brought about heartburn, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Heartburn?

heartburn diagram Heartburn is a chest ache (pain behind the breast bone), normally explained as a burning feeling. It is normally towards the front of the body in the chest region, but can sometimes be felt around the back. At one time or another, nearly everyone suffers from heartburn. Heartburn isn't a heart condition, it's a digestive system problem. Meals and posture are the usual culprit for heartburn, so it can frequently be resolved with indigestion remedies.

What Causes Heartburn?

Food is digested by acid in the stomach. Heartburn occurs when small amounts of this acid rise up into the gullet (esophagus) - this event is named reflux.

The esophagus does not have the same protective lining that the stomach has, so it can be left with painful lesions if it is touched by the stomach acid. More Causes of Heartburn
