Why do I get acid reflux?
Acid reflux and heartburn can have several origins. Some are: An over acidic stomach, eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium, digestive problems, or a damaged lower esophageal sphincter.
A damaged LES (lower esophageal sphincter) and esophagus is the most common reason for acid reflux. The injury from acid reflux can be small or large. However it is simple to eliminate!
Acid reflux, heartburn happens when abrasions on the esophagus are brought into contact with fumes from the stomach acid. When acid fumes or acid come in contact with the lesions in your esophagus they will cause pain - a feeling like your chest is being scalded from the inside. It's best compared to getting acidic vinegar on an open cut.
If someone is experiencing pain when they drink acidic juice (like orange or tomato) they probably have a damaged esophagus. Clearly, if someone doesn't get that pain they won't suffer from acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive organs are working effectively.
Can I Correct It?
Yes! Around 90% of the people who have tried my treatment have never suffered from acid reflux again. They are now enjoying a life free of pain, anxiety, belching and embarrassment. This could be you as well!
I studied for several years - trying to figure out what was going on inside my body. I finally got my head around the cause of acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
Acid Reflux is called Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. Acid reflux (GERD) is the regurgitation (back up, or refluxed) of stomach acid into the esophagus. Acid reflux is frequently wrongly taken for heartburn because that is the most common symptom! Unlike heartburn, symptoms of acid reflux disease generally occur two or more days a week for a minimum of three months, and can seriously damage your esophagus.
Acid reflux disease occurs when the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus is frequent enough to damage the esophagus and/or have consequences on you day-to-day living. A muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is located at the top of your stomach, which, to let food in, normally opens and closes. Also, it shields the esophagus by blocking stomach acid from it. If somebody suffers from Acid Reflux Disease, their lower esophageal sphincter will open at unsuitable times. allowing acid from the stomach to get into the esophagus, where it doesn't belong.
GERD can result in critical medical conditions that need hospital treatment. Some acid reflux patients can develop a wheeze or cough. This is the result of stomach acid making its way into the lungs. GERD suffers can also develop a sore throat if the acid reaches it. If acid gets into the mouth it can corrode tooth enamel.. More on Acid Reflux
