Why do I get acid reflux?
Acid reflux and heartburn can have different causes. Some of these are: Eating a large meal, an over-acidic stomach, H. pylori bacterium, a damaged lower esophageal sphincter or digestive problems.
Damaging their lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus is the reason most people get acid reflux. acid reflux damage is sometimes nominal, but it is sometimes extreme. However it is easily cured!
People suffer from acid reflux and heartburn when the fumes from stomach acid touches wounds on the esophagus. This can hurt a lot - like a feeling of scalding in the chest area. It is the same painful feeling as getting acidic vinegar in a cut.
If you feel pain while drinking orange, or any other acidic juice, you probably have esophagus lesions which are burning when the acid from the juice touches them. People who don't feel this pain don't get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive system is working effectively.
Can I Correct It?
Certainly! Complete relief from acid reflux has been found by 90% of the people who have read my publication. They are now loving a life that is no longer weighed down by pain, anxiety and embarrassing belching. You can be one of them!
I spent months learning why my body was giving me so much grief. Eventually I understood what caused acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
Acid Reflux often called GERD - an abbreviation of the medical term Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Acid reflux (GERD) is the condition in which the liquid content of the stomach regurgitates (backs up, or refluxes) into the esophagus. GERD is often erroneously taken as sporadic heartburn because heartburn is the most frequent symptom of GERD. Unlike heartburn, symptoms of acid reflux disease generally occur two or more days a week for at least three months, and can badly injure your esophagus.
Acid reflux disease occurs when the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus is frequent enough to influence the way you live your daily life and/or injure the esophagus. Situated at the crown of the stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter, or the LES, which, to let food in, normally opens and closes. It also works to stop stomach acid from refluxing into your esophagus. With GERD, the LES opens at inappropriate times, letting acid come up from the stomach and into the esophagus.
It can then lead to significant problems that necessitate hospital stays and possibly surgery. Some suffers of GERD can find they develop a wheeze or cough because stomach acid gets into their lungs. GERD suffers can also develop a sore throat if the acid reaches it. If stomach acid enters the mouth it can eat away at tooth enamel.. More on Acid Reflux
