Why do I get heartburn?
You can get acid reflux and heartburn a mixture of ways. Some of these can be: Digestive problems, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium, or a damaged lower esophageal sphincter.
A damaged LES (lower esophageal sphincter) and esophagus is the most common reason for heartburn. The pain of heartburn can very from being quite insignificant to debilitating. Nevertheless, it can be cured - and quite simply too!
When stomach acid vapors touches lesions on the esophagus heartburn and acid reflux is experienced. This will result in pain - like the sensation that the chest is being burnt from inside. It's the same kind of pain as getting acidic vinegar on a cut.
If someone is experiencing pain when they drink acidic juice (like orange or tomato) they probably have a damaged esophagus. People that don't suffer this pain clearly never get heartburn or acid reflux because their digestive system is working effectively.
Can I Correct It?
Yes! Around 90% of the people who have tried my treatment have never suffered from heartburn again. They are now enjoying a life free of pain, anxiety, belching and embarrassment. This could be you as well!
I spent months learning why my body was giving me so much grief. I finally got my head around the cause of heartburn, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Heartburn?
Heartburn is a pain felt underneath the breast bone, and is commonly described as a ‘burning’ sensation. Also, it can be felt in the same area but closer to the backbone. At some point or another, almost everyone will endure the pain of heartburn. Although the name heartburn leads us to believe it is a heart-based problem, it is really a problem with the digestive system. As heartburn is often the result of meals or posture, common indigestion treatments will often solve it.
What Causes Heartburn?
Acid is present in the stomach to digest food. Heartburn arises as the result of little quantities of this stomach acid go up into the gullet (esophagus) - this ascension is called reflux.
The esophagus is very sensitive - it doesn't have a protective lining like the stomach - so if it comes into contact with the acid it becomes inflamed and sore. More Causes of Heartburn
