Why do I get heartburn?
Heartburn and acid reflux can be the result of a variety of things. Some are: Digestive problems, a damaged lower esophageal sphincter, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal or H. pylori bacterium.
A damaged LES (lower esophageal sphincter) and esophagus is the most common reason for heartburn. The pain of heartburn can very from being quite insignificant to debilitating. However it can be corrected - and quite easily too!
People suffer from heartburn and acid reflux when the fumes from stomach acid touches wounds on the esophagus. This can cause a lot of pain - a burning sensation in the chest area. It is the same painful feeling as getting acidic vinegar in a cut.
If you have lesions on your esophagus, you will feel pain when you drink orange or tomato juice (because of the acid in the juice). People that don’t have pain don't get heartburn or acid reflux because their digestive system is in good health.
Can I Correct It?
Certainly! Complete relief from heartburn has been found by 90% of the people who have read my publication. They are now living a whole new life - free of anxiety, pain, burping and embarrassment. You could be next in line!
I spent several years trying to figure out what was happening to my body. In the end I discovered the source of heartburn, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Heartburn?
Heartburn is a pain behind the breast bone, and is described just like it's name - a feeling that your heart is burning. It can sometimes be felt closer to the back of the body than the front. Heartburn is experienced by most people sometime in their life. Although the name heartburn leads us to believe it is a heart-based problem, it is really a problem with the digestive system. Generally, heartburn is related to meals and posture, and can often be fixed using indigestion treatments.
What Causes Heartburn?
Food is digested by acid in the stomach. Heartburn happens when small amounts of acid ascend into the esophagus - this is called reflux.
The gullet, unlike the stomach, does not have a protective lining, so when the acid touches it it can become raw and painful. More Causes of Heartburn
