Why do I get heart burn?
You can get acid reflux and heart burn a mixture of ways. A damaged lower esophageal sphincter, H. pylori bacterium, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal or digestive problems.
The majority of people experience heart burn because they have damaged their (LES) lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. heart burn damage is sometimes nominal, but it is sometimes extreme. However it is simple to eliminate!
People experience heart burn, acid reflux etc. because the stomach acid fumes come in contact with the lesions on their esophagus. When acid fumes or acid come in contact with the lesions in your esophagus they will cause pain - like a feeling of scalding in the chest area. It's the same kind of pain as getting acidic vinegar on a cut.
If you feel pain while drinking orange, or any other acidic juice, you probably have esophagus lesions which are burning when the acid from the juice touches them. People who don't feel this pain don't get heart burn or acid reflux because their digestive organs are working effectively.

What is Heartburn?
Heartburn is a chest pain (behind the breast bone), best described like an ongoing scalding feeling. The back of the body can also be a location for heartburn, but still in the same chest region. Almost everyone experiences heartburn at some time in their lives. Heartburn isn't a heart condition, it's a digestive system problem. Mostly, heartburn is connected to meals and posture, so it can regularly be remedied with indigestion cures.
What Causes Heartburn?
The body uses acid in the stomach to digest food. Heartburn occurs when small amounts of this acid rise up into the gullet (esophagus) - this event is named reflux.
