Why do I get GERD?
GERD and heartburn can be caused by an assortment of things. Some of these would include: Eating a large meal, an over-acidic stomach, H. pylori bacterium, a damaged lower esophageal sphincter or digestive problems.
The majority of people experience GERD because they have damaged their (LES) lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. GERD damage is sometimes nominal, but it is sometimes extreme. However it can be corrected - and quite easily too!
Stomach acid fumes coming into contact with lacerations on their esophagus is the cause of GERD, heartburn. This can hurt a lot - a feeling like your chest is being scalded from the inside. It is the same painful feeling as getting acidic vinegar in a cut.
If someone is experiencing pain when they drink acidic juice (like orange or tomato) they probably have a damaged esophagus. People who don't feel this pain don't get GERD or heartburn because their digestive system is in good health.
Can I Correct It?
Of course you can, 90% of the people who have read my publication have been totally cured of their GERD problems. They are now loving a life that is no longer weighed down by pain, anxiety and embarrassing belching. You can be one of them!
I spent a lot of time working out what was causing my pain. Eventually I understood what caused GERD, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

About GERD
Five to seven per cent of the global population (men, women and children) have Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). (Pervasiveness found on once daily heartburn.) Weekly heartburn and/or acid regurgitation occurs in 19.8% of worldwide population.
Despite the fact that GERD is widespread, many people don't know what it is and aren't aware of the warning signs. This is regrettable because GERD is often easy to alleviate. Severe problems can occur if it is not dealt with in the correct manner.
Persistent heartburn is the most frequent, but not the only symptom of GERD. (The disease may be present even without apparent symptoms.) Heartburn is so common that it often is not associated with a serious disease like GERD. People often treat GERD themselves, and can do it incorrectly.
GERD is chronic. Treatment usually must be maintained on a long-term basis, even subsequent to the eradication of symptoms. To effectively treat GERD, the two issues of changing 0daily living habits, and taking medication regularly for a long time, have to be investigated. If follow-up, support and education are all employed, there is a greater chance of eliminating GERD. Learn More about GERD
