Why do I get GERD?
You can get heartburn and GERD a mixture of ways. Some of these are: Digestive problems, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium, or a damaged lower esophageal sphincter.
Most people experience GERD because of a damaged (LES) lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. Sometimes this damage from GERD is negligible and other times it is very bad. Nevertheless, it can be cured - and quite simply too!
GERD, heartburn happens when abrasions on the esophagus are brought into contact with fumes from the stomach acid. This will be sore - like a feeling of scalding in the chest area. It's the same kind of pain as getting acidic vinegar on a cut.
If someone is experiencing pain when they drink acidic juice (like orange or tomato) they probably have a damaged esophagus. Clearly, people that don't suffer from that pain don't get GERD or heartburn because their body is in good working order.
Can I Correct It?
Certainly! Complete relief from GERD has been found by 90% of the people who have read my publication. They are now loving a life that is no longer weighed down by pain, anxiety and embarrassing belching. You can be one of them!
It look me several years to understand exactly what was causing my pain. I finally got my head around the cause of GERD, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

About GERD
Five to seven per cent of the global population (men, women and children) have Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). (Pervasiveness found on once daily heartburn.) Heartburn and/or acid reflux occurring weekly happens with 19.8% of people.
Though GERD is universal, people tend to ignore the warning signs or not understand the symptoms. This is unfortunate because GERD is generally a treatable disease. Severe problems can occur if it is not dealt with in the correct manner.
Persistent heartburn is the most frequent, but not the only symptom of GERD. (You don't always have symptoms when you have the disease.) Heartburn is so universal, most people don't understand it can be caused by a disease. It is a widespread practice for people to wrongly self-treat their GERD.
GERD is a disease that remains in the body unless treated properly. To be cured, it has to be treated over a long period of time, even subsequent to the eradication of symptoms. Issues of daily living, and compliance with long-term use of medication need to be addressed as well. If follow-up, support and education are all employed, there is a greater chance of eliminating GERD. Learn More about GERD
