Why do I get acid reflux?
You can get acid reflux and heartburn from a number of different things. Some of these are: A damaged lower esophageal sphincter, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium or digestive problems.
Most people experience acid reflux because of a damaged (LES) lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. Sometimes this acid reflux damage is minimal and other times it is quite severe. However it is easily cured!
Stomach acid fumes coming into contact with lacerations on their esophagus is the cause of acid reflux, heartburn. This will be sore - a sense of burning in the chest region. It is the same painful feeling as getting acidic vinegar in a cut.
Drinking orange or tomato juice can be a painful experience for someone with esophagus lesions, as the acid in the juice will burn their throat. People who don't feel this pain don't get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive organs are working effectively.
Can I Correct It?
Of course you can, 90% of the people who have read my publication have been totally cured of their acid reflux problems. They are living it up, with a life that is free of burping, embarrassment, anxiety - and most of all pain! You could be next!
I spent months figuring out what was occurring with my body. In the end I found out what brought about acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
Acid Reflux often called GERD - an abbreviation of the medical term Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Acid reflux (GERD) is the condition where stomach acid is regurgitated into the esophagus. GERD is often erroneously taken as sporadic heartburn because that is the most common symptom! Regular heartburn is much less frequent than the heartburn symptom of GERD - which usually occurs at least two days a week for at least three months, and can badly injure your esophagus.
Acid reflux disease occurs when the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus is frequent enough to influence the way you live your daily life and/or injure the esophagus. Located at the top of your stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which ordinarily opens and closes to let food in. It also works to stop stomach acid from refluxing into your esophagus. If someone has GERD, their lower esophageal sphincter will open at the wrong time, letting the esophagus be exposed to the strong stomach acid - which is meant to stay in the stomach!
Acid reflux disease can result in major health problems that call for a hospital and maybe surgery. Some suffers of GERD can find they develop a wheeze or cough because stomach acid gets into their lungs. If stomach acid gets all the way up into the throat, it can result in pain (or a 'sore throat'). If acid reaches the mouth, it can dissolve the enamel of the teeth. More on Acid Reflux
