Why do I get acid reflux?
You can obtain acid reflux and heartburn in various ways. Some are: Eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium, digestive problems, an over acidic stomach or a damaged lower esophageal sphincter.
A damaged LES (lower esophageal sphincter) and esophagus is the most common reason for acid reflux. acid reflux damage is sometimes nominal, but it is sometimes extreme. However it can be corrected - and quite easily too!
People experience acid reflux and heartburn because the wounds on their esophagus are exposed to stomach acid fumes. This will result in pain - like a feeling of scalding in the chest area. The pain is similar to getting acidic vinegar on a cut.
If you feel pain while drinking orange, or any other acidic juice, you probably have esophagus lesions which are burning when the acid from the juice touches them. Evidently, if drinking acidic juice doesn't cause someone pain they probably never get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive system is working properly.
Can I Correct It?
Certainly! Complete relief from acid reflux has been found by 90% of the people who have read my publication. They are living it up, with a life that is free of burping, embarrassment, anxiety - and most of all pain! You could be next!
I spent years trying to figure out what was happening inside my body. I eventually succeeded in finding out what really causes acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
GERD is the most common name for Acid Reflux. It is the acronym of the medical term Gastroesophageal reflux disease. When stomach acid is regurgitated back up into the esophagus, it is known as acid reflux, or GERD. Acid reflux is frequently wrongly taken for heartburn because that is the most common symptom! But unlike occasional heartburn, the heartburn symptoms of acid reflux disease usually occur 2 or more days a week for a minimum of 12 weeks, and can harm your esophagus.
GERD occurs when the stomach acid rising into the esophagus is common enough to impact your daily life and/or damage the esophagus. Situated at the crown of the stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter, or the LES, which normally opens and closes allowing food to enter. Also, it shields the esophagus by blocking stomach acid from it. If someone has GERD, their lower esophageal sphincter will open at the wrong time, opening up the esophagus and allowing stomach acid to come into contact with it.
Acid reflux disease can result in major health problems that call for hospitalization and perhaps surgery. Some acid reflux patients can develop a wheeze or cough. This is the result of stomach acid making its way into the lungs. GERD suffers can also develop a sore throat if the acid reaches it. If stomach acid enters the mouth it can eat away at tooth enamel.. More on Acid Reflux
