Why do I get acid reflux?
Acid reflux and heartburn can have different causes. Some of these are: Eating a large meal, an over-acidic stomach, H. pylori bacterium, a damaged lower esophageal sphincter or digestive problems.
People usually suffer from acid reflux because they have a damaged lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. The harm caused by acid reflux varies - sometimes it is very slight, other times it can be quite major. However it can be corrected - and quite easily too!
Acid reflux, heartburn happens when abrasions on the esophagus are brought into contact with fumes from the stomach acid. This will be sore - a burning sensation in the chest area. It's best compared to getting acidic vinegar on an open cut.
If someone is experiencing pain when they drink acidic juice (like orange or tomato) they probably have a damaged esophagus. People that don’t have pain, obviously never get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive system has no problems.
Can I Correct It?
Of course you can, 90% of the people who have read my publication have been totally cured of their acid reflux problems. They are now loving a life that is no longer weighed down by pain, anxiety and embarrassing belching. You can be one of them!

What is Acid Reflux?
The medical name for Acid Reflux is Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or more commonly, GERD. Acid reflux (GERD) is the occurrence of stomach acid being regurgitated (back up, or refluxed) into the gullet (esophagus). GERD is often erroneously taken as sporadic heartburn because heartburn is its most common symptom! But unlike occasional heartburn, the heartburn symptoms of acid reflux disease usually occur 2 or more days a week for a minimum of three months, and can seriously damage your esophagus.
GERD occurs when the stomach acid rising into the esophagus is common enough to influence the way you live your daily life and/or injure the esophagus. At the top of your stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which permits food to enter by opening and closing. It also works to stop stomach acid from refluxing into your esophagus. With Acid Reflux disease, the LES opens at the wrong moments, allowing acid from the stomach to get into the esophagus, where it doesn't belong.
GERD can lead to more acute medical problems that demand clinical treatment, and sometimes surgery. GERD can sometimes result in acid making its way into the lungs - causing causing coughing or wheezing. Regurgitation of acid into the throat can create a sore throat. If stomach acid enters the mouth it can eat away at tooth enamel.. More on Acid Reflux
