Why do I get acid reflux?
You can get heartburn and acid reflux a mixture of ways. These include: A damaged lower esophageal sphincter, H. pylori bacterium, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal or digestive problems.
A damaged LES (lower esophageal sphincter) and esophagus is the main reason people suffer from acid reflux. Sometimes this damage from acid reflux is negligible and other times it is very bad. Nonetheless it is simple to cure!
When stomach acid vapors touches lesions on the esophagus acid reflux and heartburn is experienced. When acid fumes or acid come in contact with the lesions in your esophagus they will cause pain - like your chest is burning inside. It's best compared to getting acidic vinegar on an open cut.
Drinking orange or tomato juice can be a painful experience for someone with esophagus lesions, as the acid in the juice will burn their throat. Clearly, people that don't suffer from that pain don't get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive organs are working effectively.
Can I Correct It?
Yes! Around 90% of the people who have tried my treatment have never suffered from acid reflux again. They are making the most of their life, that is no longer hampered by pain, anxiety, burping and embarrassment. You could too!
I researched for years to get my head around what was causing me so much pain and embarrassment. At last I realized the reason for acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
Acid Reflux is called Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. Acid reflux (GERD) is the occurrence of stomach acid being regurgitated (back up, or refluxed) into the gullet (esophagus). Acid reflux disease can sometimes be taken for irregular heartburn because that is the most common symptom! Regular heartburn is much less frequent than the heartburn symptom of GERD - which usually occurs at least two days a week for at least 12 weeks, and can injure your esophagus.
The disease occurs when the ascension of stomach acid into the esophagus is regular enough to impact your daily life and/or damage the esophagus. A muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is located at the top of your stomach, which normally opens and closes allowing food to enter. In addition, it stops stomach acid coming backing up into the esophagus and damaging it. With GERD, the LES opens at the incorrect time, exposing the esophagus to stomach acid.
It can then lead to significant problems that call for a hospital and maybe surgery. Wheezing or coughing is another symptom of GERD, and occurs when the person gets acid into their lungs. Regurgitation of acid into the throat can create a sore throat. If acid gets all the way into the mouth, it can begin to dissolve tooth enamel.. More on Acid Reflux
