Why do I get acid reflux?
You can get acid reflux and heartburn from a number of different things. These include: Eating a large meal, an over-acidic stomach, H. pylori bacterium, a damaged lower esophageal sphincter or digestive problems.
The majority of people experience acid reflux because they have damaged their (LES) lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. Sometimes this damage from acid reflux is negligible and other times it is very bad. However it is easily cured!
Acid reflux and heartburn occurs when vapors from the stomach acid makes contact with the sores on the esophagus. This can hurt a lot - a feeling like your chest is being scalded from the inside. Have you ever got acidic vinegar on a wound? It hurts!
Pain can be felt if you drink tomato or orange juice and the acid in the juice comes into contact with grazes on the esophagus. People that don’t have pain, obviously never get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive organs are working properly.
Can I Correct It?
Of course you can, 90% of the people that have tried my method have found complete relief from their former acid reflux condition. They are now enjoying a life free of pain, anxiety, belching and embarrassment. This could be you as well!
I spent a lot of time working out what was causing my pain. Eventually I understood what caused acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
GERD is the most common name for Acid Reflux. It is the acronym of the medical term Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Acid reflux (GERD) is the condition in which the liquid content of the stomach regurgitates (backs up, or refluxes) into the esophagus. GERD can occasionally be confused with infrequent heartburn because heartburn is the most common indicator of acid reflux disease. Normal heartburn is much more infrequent that the acid reflux disease symptom of heartburn, which usually happens two or more days a week for a minimum of three months, and can seriously damage your esophagus.
The disease occurs when the ascension of stomach acid into the esophagus is regular enough to damage the esophagus and/or have consequences on you day-to-day living. Located at the top of your stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which normally opens and closes allowing food to enter. In addition, it shelters the esophagus by preventing stomach acid from refluxing. With Acid Reflux disease, the LES opens at the wrong moments, allowing the harmful stomach acid into the esophagus.
Acid reflux disease can also lead to more serious medical conditions that call for hospitalization and perhaps surgery. In some acid reflux patients, acid can be regurgitated into the lungs, causing wheezing or cough. A sore throat in acid reflux suffers is the result of acid burning the throat. If acid reaches the mouth, it can dissolve the enamel of the teeth. More on Acid Reflux
