Why do I get acid reflux?
Acid reflux and heartburn can be the result of a variety of things. Some of these can be: An over acidic stomach, eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium, digestive problems, or a damaged lower esophageal sphincter.
A damaged LES (lower esophageal sphincter) and esophagus is the most common reason for acid reflux. acid reflux damage is sometimes nominal, but it is sometimes extreme. However it can be eliminated easily!
People experience acid reflux and heartburn because the wounds on their esophagus are exposed to stomach acid fumes. This will be sore - like a feeling of scalding in the chest area. It's best compared to getting acidic vinegar on an open cut.
People who have lesions on their esophagus would have a hard time drinking tomato, orange or any other acidic juice, because it would react with the sores and cause pain. Clearly, people that don't suffer from that pain don't get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive system is in good health.
Can I Correct It?
Of course you can, 90% of the people who have read my publication have been totally cured of their acid reflux problems. They are now living a whole new life - free of anxiety, pain, burping and embarrassment. You could be next in line!
I spent a lot of time working out what was causing my pain. Eventually I understood what caused acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

What is Acid Reflux?
Acid Reflux often called GERD - an abbreviation of the medical term Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Acid reflux (GERD) is the condition where stomach acid is regurgitated into the esophagus. GERD is often erroneously taken as sporadic heartburn because that is the most common symptom! Unlike heartburn, symptoms of acid reflux disease generally occur two or more days a week for a minimum of 12 weeks, and can harm your esophagus.
GERD occurs when the stomach acid rising into the esophagus is common enough to influence your daily life and/or harm the esophagus. At the top of the stomach there is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter, or LES, which opens and shuts to let food enter. In addition, it stops stomach acid coming backing up into the esophagus and damaging it. With Acid Reflux disease, the LES opens at the wrong moments, opening up the esophagus and allowing stomach acid to come into contact with it.
Acid reflux disease can result in major health problems that demand clinical treatment, and sometimes surgery. Some people who suffer from acid reflux disease can get stomach acid in their lungs and start wheezing or coughing. Sore throats are sometimes an indication of GERD, as the acid has burnt it. The enamel on your teeth can be worn away by stomach acid if it gets into your mouth.. More on Acid Reflux
