Why do I get acid reflux?
You can get acid reflux and heartburn from a number of different things. These include: A damaged lower esophageal sphincter, an over acidic stomach, eating a large meal, H. pylori bacterium or digestive problems.
Most people experience acid reflux because of a damaged (LES) lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus. Injury from acid reflux can vary from being minor to being extensive. However it can be eliminated easily!
When stomach acid vapors touches lesions on the esophagus acid reflux and heartburn is experienced. This will be sore - like a burning feeling in the chest. The pain is similar to getting acidic vinegar on a cut.
If you have lesions on your esophagus, you will feel pain when you drink orange or tomato juice (because of the acid in the juice). Evidently, if drinking acidic juice doesn't cause someone pain they probably never get acid reflux or heartburn because their digestive system is working effectively.
Can I Correct It?
Of course you can, 90% of the people who have read my publication have been totally cured of their acid reflux problems. They are making the most of their life, that is no longer hampered by pain, anxiety, burping and embarrassment. You could too!

What is Acid Reflux?
Acid Reflux often called GERD - an abbreviation of the medical term Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Acid reflux (GERD) is the regurgitation (back up, or refluxed) of stomach acid into the esophagus. Acid reflux disease (GERD) is often mistaken for occasional heartburn because it is the most common indication that someone has GERD. While normal heartburn is very irregular, the heartburn symptoms of acid reflux usually appear twice a week for at least 3 months and can damage your esophagus.
The disease occurs when the ascension of stomach acid into the esophagus is regular enough to influence the way you live your daily life and/or injure the esophagus. At the top of your stomach is a muscle called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which permits food to enter by opening and closing. In addition, it shelters the esophagus by preventing stomach acid from refluxing. The LES will open at inappropriate times if someone suffers from GERD, exposing the esophagus to stomach acid.
Acid reflux disease can result in major health problems that require hospitalization and even surgery. Wheezing or coughing is another symptom of GERD, and occurs when the person gets acid into their lungs. GERD suffers can also develop a sore throat if the acid reaches it. If acid gets all the way into the mouth, it can begin to dissolve tooth enamel.. More on Acid Reflux
