SocketQ is a high performance COM DLL designed exclusively for the purpose of creating high performance network server applications. As part of this design goal, SocketQ was built using multi-threaded overlapped I/O to acheive the highest possible performance. In designing the component to this end, it includes many features that help acheive this, such as both synchronous and asynchronous connects with timeouts, support for multiple NIC cards, and much more, while still providing a simple interface to interact with.
