The Intermec EasyCoder C4 Printer Kit has everything you need in the box. Both Argox Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer printers - Argox printers are available in thermal transfer and direct thermal models:
  • Direct Thermal - is a less expensive method of printing barcode labels. This process requires just one label roll because the printhead burns the image straight onto the labels. However, the labels can be easily damaged by heat or pressure.
  • Thermal Transfer - makes superior quality labels. This technique requires one label roll, one film or ribbon roll since the print head burns the image on the film to begin with, then the film is pressed on the labels. If you are uncertain of what equipment you need, purchase this model as it also provides support for direct thermal printing.
Included with each Argox printer is their WYSIWYG label design software so you can immediately design and print labels.
